About Sean Haber RMT
Sean is a member in good standing of the CMTO, College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and the RMTAO, Registered Massage Therapist’s Association of Ontario, formerly known as the OMTA, Ontario Massage Therapist Association.
Sean is committed to providing holistic manual therapy with a focus on finding and treating the cause of dysfunction when possible. Using his intuitive approach, he integrates all the skills and therapeutic techniques he has learned to customize each treatment for the most beneficial results as quickly as possible.
With over 15 years of experience in Massage and Shiatsu, Sean has successfully completed a rigorous 2 year, 2200 hour diploma program at the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy. Along with an intense understanding of Anatomy and Physiology and a significant detailed overview of Pathology, the course included advanced techniques such as Myofacial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Joint Play and Lymphatic Drainage.
In 2006, Sean obtained a diploma in Shiatsu Therapy, also known as acupressure, from Living Earth Shiatsu School in Toronto and has since taken additional advanced Shiatsu courses including Emotional Factors and the treatment of pain totaling over 2000 hours of practical experience.
Sean has found a combination of these applications valuable not only in his private practice but also beneficial in institutional care with rehabilitation patients at Toronto Rehab and also at Baycrest with stroke, trauma and elderly cases.
Sean has continued taking courses and most recently took his first CranioSacral course in Novemeber 2012.
Sean’s range of clients includes athletes and weekend warriors to people with chronic pain and stress relief. Sean has had significant success treating neck and back pain, TMJ, Insomnia, Headaches and Migranes, Overuse and Sports injuries like strains & sprains, as well as Breathing, Circulation and Digestive issues.
